Zenith Aircraft Workshops Return To DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase

Participants Build Their Own Zenith Aircraft Rudder

The popular Zenith hands-on kit aircraft building workshop is returning to central Florida for the DeLand DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase November 14 -16.

Starting on Thursday morning, November 14, staff and volunteers will provide an overview of the fuselage / cabin assembly of the STOL CH 750 Super Duty aircraft kit, putting together the entire fuselage to demonstrate the ease of assembly made possible with final hole size match-drilled assemblies.

The hands-on workshop will be held Friday morning, November 15. Zenith workshops are aimed at the first-time builder and have become popular with sport aviation enthusiasts who are considering to build their own aircraft yet are unsure if they have the required skills, work-space and tools. During the workshop each participant builds and assembles their own Zenith aircraft rudder tail section from a standard kit. On Saturday, Zenith staff will provide additional educational demonstrations on light aircraft construction and assembly, providing more hands-on opportunities.

Participating in the workshop at the DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase makes an excellent getaway for you and your spouse or a friend. Spend a couple productive days learning to build your own airplane, meet with fellow aviation enthusiasts, and visit the DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase in central Florida (conveniently located between Orlando and Daytona Beach). Workshop space is limited, and prior registration is required.

Zenith Aircraft offers advanced Quick Build Kits (QBK) in response to increased demand for pre-fabricated parts and assemblies for those wanting to shorten build times while keeping costs affordable. With our Quick Build Kits, the main fuselage portion of the Zenith all-metal aircraft is pre-assembled at the factory, resulting in a dramatically reduced kit assembly time and overall simplified construction.
