Source: From a Navy statement associated with a briefing sheet from the US Navy describing their decision made by Vice Adm. Kenneth Whitesell, Commander, Naval Air Forces, in which he directed all non-deployed U.S. Navy aviation units to conduct a safety stand down Oct. 26.
