NWS To Host Sub-Regional Aviation Workshop In SC

All-Day Event Features Seminars With Something Of Interest To Everyone

The National Weather Service announced it will host a workshop next month, featuring seminars especially tailored for aviation weather forecasters, airport managers, airline representatives, medevac personnel, and general aviation pilots.

The workshop, an all-day event, will be held February 26 at the Lexington County EMS Operations Center, located at 407 Ball Park Road in Lexington, SC. The program begins at 8:30 am, and ends at 5 pm.

Seminars will feature presentations by the National Weather Service, the Aviation Weather Center, the Meteorological Development Lab, the University Collaboration for Atmospheric Research, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Chesapeake Aviation Training, Inc., Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Columbia Metropolitan Airport, and LifeNet, SC.
