Kodiak Makes First Appearance At AOPA Summit

Quest Aircraft Will Be On Static Display Outside The Palm Springs Convention Center

Quest Aircraft Company is displaying a Kodiak at this year’s AOPA Aviation Summit, marking the company’s first appearance at the event. Quest will be located outside the convention center at the Airport Fest. The new Kodiak on display features a Timberline interior, along with air conditioning and an External Cargo Compartment. The aircraft will also participate in the Parade of Planes, to be held at 1000 PDT on Wednesday, October 10.

“We are excited to add this event to our Kodiak marketing efforts,” said Steve Zinda, Quest’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “We have seen interest from a wide variety of market segments this year and look forward to reaching even more potential customers at this year’s Aviation Summit.”

The airplane’s aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The Kodiak can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute. A 3-panel Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite including Synthetic Vision Technology is standard equipment on the Kodiak.

Kodiaks are in service around the world with charter operators, small businesses, personal owners, U.S. and international governments, and humanitarian organizations. The Kodiak can be equipped with a variety of options including an External Cargo Compartment, a Certified Flight Into Known Ice (FIKI) TKS ice protection system, air-conditioning, and even a Jump Package.
