ICG Reorganizes Sales Department

Cites Expansion Of Aeronautical Communications Systems

International Communications Group (ICG) is restructuring its sales organization to accommodate a broadening marketplace as the company's line of aeronautical communications systems continues to expand. The firm's sales functions have been divided into three distinct sales teams to address Private Label and New Market Development, OEM and Completion Centers, and Business Aviation and Inside Sales.

"ICG's position in the industry continues to grow along with our product lines," noted Scott Trainum, the company's Chief Executive Officer. "We are fortunate to have skilled, knowledgeable and extremely well-versed personnel who understand our technology and our markets extremely well.  This new organizational structure allows us to focus their expertise more precisely and take advantage of the relationships they've established in distinct segments of the market.

Armin Jabs, ICG's President and Chief Operating Officer will oversee the Private Label and New Market Development segment.  An industry veteran, he founded the company in 1990 and has more than 25 years of experience in mobile and satellite communication. He holds multiple patents and helped lead the development of the first Cabin Telecommunications Unit (CTU) which is utilized on transport category aircraft and forms the basis for much of ICG's business. He will be assisted by Bryan Trainum, who is assuming the newly defined position of Director of New Business Development to provide program management and contractual skills as well as directing ICG's interface with STC25 Corporation in the creation of new business opportunities.

Jeff Saucedo, vice president, product sales, will lead the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Completion Center sales effort, leveraging his experience as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic and extensive background in avionics sales to the corporate aviation marketplace. He will be assisted by Andrew Mayfield, who joined ICG in 2007 as Marketing Coordinator. He has been promoted to the position of Senior Sales Coordinator and will provide sales support to both the OEM and Inside Sales teams.

The Inside Sales organization will be headed by Ray Larkin, who has been promoted to Associate Director, Business Aviation Sales. In addition to directing inside sales, he is also responsible for driving growth in aftermarket sales, creating a sustainable distributor network and strengthening dealer relationships. He will be assisted by newly promoted Account Managers Adam Tsakonas, John Paine as well as Andrew Mayfield in these efforts.

"Our markets are growing despite the obvious challenges facing the aerospace industry in 2009," Scott Trainum noted. "I have great confidence that the combination of our innovative, leading edge products and exceptional sales teams will allow us to make significant progress even in these difficult times."
