Unison Publishes New Slick Ignition Manual

Unison Industries has published the new Slick Ignition Lead Maintenance Manual (Unison document L-1499). The manual provides detailed information on Slick ignition harness installation techniques and maintenance procedures, and is an essential document for aviation technicians, aircraft owners, maintenance and overhaul facilities, flight schools, and FBOs. The manual will be provided to subscribers of Unison's F-1100 Slick Service Manual and replaces the L-1777 Slick Ignition Lead Maintenance Manual and the L-1778 Slick Ignition Lead and Assembly Manual.

Slick ignition harnesses use a unique coiled center conductor that suppresses electromagnetic interference and improves reception and range from modern avionics. Slick harnesses provide superior protection from mechanical wear and resistance to wash-down fluids, lubricants, and solvents for long-term electrical durability. Slick harnesses are available in the original gray-green wire color finish or with blue, yellow, black, or red coatings.
