ALP To Deploy New Flight Simulator Airbus A320neo Philippines

The New FFS CAE 7000XR Series Meets The Growing Need For Cebu Pacific Air Pilot Training And Other Operators In The Region

Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (ALP), the joint venture between CAE and Cebu Pacific, has announced the expansion of its training capacity through the acquisition of a new Airbus A320neo flight simulator. The FFS Series CAE7000XR equipped with the CAE Tropos visual system 6000XR for unprecedented realism, will meet the growing training needs of Cebu Pacific pilots and other operators in the region. The new simulator will be deployed at the CAE training center Clark - ALP near Manila during the first half of 2019.

"Our goal is to ensure the highest standards of pilot training and to establish a leadership role in the training and development of aviation professionals in the Philippines through our joint venture Philippine Academy for Aviation Training established with CAE. As Cebu Pacific continues to expand, it will require a greater number of drivers. We are excited to provide a new simulator to raise the bar in complete solutions for innovative training for the Philippines and regional markets, "said the commander Sam Avila, vice president, Flight Operations Cebu Pacific.

Cebu Pacific and CAE inaugurated the JV Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (ALP) in 2012. The training center located in Clark (Philippines) offers training for Airbus A320 pilots Cebu Pacific Air and other operators in the region. With this deployment, the center CAE Clark - ALP now houses three A320 simulators.
