After An Intense/Comprehensive Study Program, We're Ready To Start Public Programs In Support of 'Let Bob Fly!'

No kidding... we've NEVER been so intent on studying such a range of new topics and disciplines as we have in getting ready to produce the 'Let Bob Fly' long-form documentary.

The phrase, 'drinking from the firehose' barely covers what's been going on here... but as involved as it has all become, it has also been enriching in ways we could never have guessed... especially in having the excuse to work with Bob Hoover again, as well as dozens of other involved aviators on this amazing project.

Mind you, the hard work started months ago, but from here its becomes the primary mission for the newly created 'TANSTAAFL, Ltd.', the company we started to pursue the 'Let Bob Fly' documentary program... and a number of others we have in mind for the future.

'TANSTAAFL',  you ask?

'TANSTAAFL' comes from a saying used frequently by Science Fiction author Robert Heinlein... and stands for the initials that break down to 'There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch...'

The LBF team is well on its way to launching several fund-raising efforts, including a Crowd-Funding program, a Corporate Funding effort, and some ancillary efforts needed to not only put together the resources needed to make LBF all that it can be, but to build a foundation with this effort that can be used to support other important missions and goals… and yes, we have some REALLY GOOD ideas about where this program might eventually take us.

BUT… these processes needed careful study and the building of an amazing team of partners to make sure that not only do we do this right, but that we build a program that can be used, again, in the future as we take on other challenges. So… after studying everything carefully, we’re getting to work on these processes as aggressively as we know how… but based on careful, professional, ethical, intense study (and much more to come). The more accomplished we become as we prepare for all this, the more we can do to serve the interests of the Aero-Verse of the future. We believe we can be of significant benefit to the aviation world… and we are fully committed to making that happen.

BUT… there is equipment to buy, bills to pay, interviews to conduct, research to undertake, and expenses accruing as we build this effort – so, it’s time to start building resources to prepare for the big steps to come. SO… we’re coming to you first (and foremost), as we seek the initial support necessary to undertake this very complex, very expensive, and altogether consuming endeavor.

The ‘Let Bob Fly’ Founders100 and Founders200 Program

TANSTAAFL, Ltd., and Aero-TV are proud to announce the first level of our ‘Let Bob Fly’ Founders fund-raising appeal.

We’re going to need a LOT of support… but we also have some exciting rewards to offer in return for your belief in the ‘Let Bob Fly’ effort. ANN/Aero-TV and Airborne friends and supporters will be invited to be the first to show their support for this ground-breaking documentary effort and the associated projects to follow.

We’re going to unveil, to start, two basic fund-raising levels to jump-start this project. Each will come with an assortment of rewards that we hope will encourage you to offer your support. And do understand, that we will follow with an official Crowd-Funding program, after the first of the year… but the Founder’s offers include some exclusive rewards that are of limited availability and may not be available by the time that our official/major CF efforts are made public.

For a minimum commitment of $200, the Founders200 program offers an expanded benefit package that includes one of the last remaining copies of the 1999, 400+page book, ‘Air of Injustice’ that exhaustively documented the FAA v Bob Hoover fight.

We thought we were about out of these, after many thousands were sold over the last 15+ years, but a few extra cartons were buried in the back of our book storage area and discovered a few weeks ago… leaving us with over 100 more to offer to our Founding Sponsors.
