One Sky Aviation Receives Caravan EVS STC

Enhanced Vision System Approved For 208 and 208B

One Sky Aviation Wednesday announced the award of FAA STC #SA02350AK for installation of the Max Viz EVS-100/600 Enhanced Vision System for the Cessna Caravan product line including the 208 and 208B models.

The STC was designed and developed by Cary Foster and Sharmaine Vestal, Co-owners of One Sky Aviation, a full service aviation maintenance facility based in Anchorage, Alaska. The STC was issued through the Alaska ACO.

The EVS-100/600 is a single LRU unit, weighs less than 1.5 pounds and mounts like any external antenna. An introductory price of $20,995 is being offered for a limited time directly through One Sky Aviation which includes the EVS-100, STC installation kit, and certified monitor display, and a price of $23,995 is being offered for a limited time directly through One Sky Aviation which includes the EVS-600, STC installation kit, and certified monitor display. The EVS-100/600 and STC kit is additionally available through Forward Vision, the exclusive distributer for these Max-Viz general aviation low cost sensors.

Cary Foster of One Sky Aviation  states “As both the STC developer and long term EVS operator, I can attest that the enhanced level of situational awareness brought on by the effective use of EVS products. Working cooperatively with the Anchorage ACO, we have developed an STC to enhance the safety of one of the most operationally diverse aircraft in general / commercial aviation. Installation of the EVS-100 or 600 via this STC will have a dramatic impact on risk mitigation and the enhancement of flight safety of Caravan pilots and passengers around the World!”
