Aero-News Featured Aero-Casts For Friday 09.18.09

Tom Poberezny Refutes USA Today's Airline-Induced Rhetoric

USA Today Thursday (9/17/09) turned airline industry talking points into a "news story" about how federally-funded capital projects at general aviation airports, used only by a few wealthy individuals and corporations, are responsible for everything from inflated airline ticket prices to underfunding of NextGen ATC.

Today, ANN Editor-in-Chief Jim Campbell gets an opposing viewpoint from Tom Poberezny, Chairman and President of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

This feature is in addition to our daily news briefing -- available in either a quick "Touch And Go" format, or an expanded Aero-Briefing -- where you'll hear these stories:

Someone tell USA Today and the airlines to "get a room."

NTSB's Debra Hersman says a controller made a mistake in Teterboro.

And changes like those over the Hudson could be applied elsewhere.

...And more
