RotorFest Set For Central PA October 11-12

Only All-Helicopter Air Show In The U.S.

The American Helicopter Museum in West Chester, PA will host the annual RotorFest all-helicopter air show at the museum October 11-12.

The show will feature the Golden Knights parachute team from Fort Bragg, NC, and the Batcopter and Batmobile flying show. Also on the program are the "Sky Soldiers" Huey/Cobra Vietnam Rescue re-enactment, complete with “enemy attackers.” The Army Aviation Heritage Museums Sky Soldiers Team will fly Huey and Cobra Helicopters to dramatically recreate a Vietnam rescue mission, complete with Vietnam and enemy soldiers and Cobra strafing runs. Exciting narration and music will enhance the thrills.

A family-oriented outing, RotorFest 2014 includes three exciting air shows each day, flight demonstrations, helicopters on static display, helicopter rides and opportunities to meet flight crews along with amusement rides, food and other festival entertainment.

Welcome Home Warriors is a tribute to Pennsylvania National Guard men and women returning from active service in helicopters in Iraq and Afghanistan and their devoted families for sharing individual stories, memorializing fallen comrades and saluting the 28th Combat Aviation Brigade.

The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days at the American Helicopter Museum, 1220 American Blvd., West Chester, PA.
