Key Leadership Announcements At GE Aviation

Jean Lydon-Rodgers Named President And CEO Of GE Aviation, Services

GE Aviation has announced that Jean Lydon-Rodgers has been was named president and CEO of GE Aviation, Services, while Tony Mathis was promoted to president and CEO of GE Aviation, Military Systems.

Jean Lydon-Rodgers began her career with GE on the Manufacturing Management Program at GE's aerospace business and moved to GE Aviation. She worked in several divisions within GE Aviation, including Engineering, Services and Military Systems. Most recently, she served as president and chief executive officer of GE Aviation, Military Systems, working the US Department of Defense and numerous international military customers for aircraft, helicopter and marine engines. Lydon-Rodgers graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and from Xavier University with a master's degree in business administration.
 
Tony Mathis joined GE in 1997 after serving in the United States Air Force, where he focused on flight test and propulsion project engineering. Over the next 19 years, Tony held roles of increasing responsibility in Commercial Engineering, eBusiness, Marketing and Military Systems. Most recently, he served as the senior account executive for GE Aviation at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, WA. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from California State University, Fresno, and a master's degree in business administration from Xavier University.
