Also: Piper Stays Put, Precision Airmotive Forced Into CH11, Quicksilver Worldwide, Happy Holidays From ANN!

It may be "the most wonderful time of the year" ... unless you happen to be a GA pilot or owner of an aviation business on the island on Oahu.

The FAA has posted a TFR with a duration of more than two weeks that covers the entire island of Oahu in anticipation of President Obama's planned vacation. With Spaceport America nearly complete but also nearly empty in the New Mexico desert, Virgin Galactic is asking lawmakers in the state to pass new liability exemption laws for its suppliers or risk losing the company to another state. Piper Aircraft will stay in Florida. The plane maker and Florida's Indian River County have agreed to amend an economic development incentive contract to retain the company's headquarters and manufacturing operations in Vero Beach. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
