Complimentary Innovation Showcase Exhibit Spaces Returns For 20 Exhibitors
EAA is once again offering a limited number of complimentary exhibit locations for cutting-edge companies that seek to bring their new products to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2020, The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration. The 68th annual Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in convention is July 20-26 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The approved exhibitors, of which only 20 will be selected, will be part of AirVenture’s popular Innovation Showcase that is focused on research and development in the aviation and aerospace industries. Any aviation-related product or service that demonstrates unique, forward-looking technology is invited to apply. In 2019, nearly 75 companies applied for this area at Oshkosh.
“EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the ideal venue to showcase innovative discoveries to more than 640,000 aviation enthusiasts, pilots, and industry professionals,” said Dave Chaimson, EAA’s vice president of business development and membership. “Companies who have participated in past years say Oshkosh is the best place to gain market validation for concepts that are either about to launch or are being considered for release. Exhibitors here can uncover important details as they make plans for upcoming product launches. We want to make that success possible for more companies in 2020, whether they are start-ups or established businesses.”
The deadline to apply for the Innovation Showcase complimentary exhibit space is April 1, 2020. Complete application details and materials are available online (EAA.org/innovation). All companies that are selected will also be part of the invite-only VIP/Media Breakfast on Monday morning, July 20, AirVenture’s opening day, and a select few will also be featured on EAA Radio on Thursday afternoon, July 23, during AirVenture week.
