Pat Thomas Receives USPA's Highest Honor

International Skydiving Museum Board Trustee Honored By The Organization

International Skydiving Museum Board Trustee, Pat Thomas, has been awarded the 2018 USPA Lifetime Achievement Award, the association’s highest honor.  For nearly 30 years, Pat and her company, Sun Path Products, have supported competitive skydiving by sponsoring competitors and teams in all disciplines, which has been a great asset to many members of the U.S. Parachute Team for decades. She has also led the team that organized nine Parachute Industry Association Symposiums, providing tremendous support to USPA, its board meetings and DZO Conferences.

In addition to Sun Path Products, Pat is also owner of Complete Parachute Solutions, DeLand, FL, and owner of Tactical Training Facility in Coolidge, AZ.   She made her first jump in 1987 and last jumped in 1991. Pat currently holds dual citizenship in England and the US and has three sons, one aged 35, and identical twins aged 32, and 8 grandchildren. She is an honorary Golden Knight and very active with the Parachute Industry Association (PIA) of which she has chaired the PIA Symposium Committee since 2005.

Pat joined the International Skydiving Museum’s board of trustees in 2013.  She currently serves as the chair of the nominations committee.
