EBAA Reorganizes Following Management Shakeup

CEO Mandemaker Out "By Mutual Consent"

The European Business Aviation Association announced recently that CEO Eric Mandemaker is leaving the organization "with immediate effect by mutual consent."

"The EBAA is grateful for the contribution that Eric has made to the business during his little over a year in post and wishes him every success for the future," the organization writes.

Mandemaker will not be replaced, with the business being re-structured to combine the duties of the President and CEO... "with corresponding adjustments in other management positions, so it will be a case of business as usual."

Brian Humphries will take on the new combined duties of President and CEO. He previously served as CEO of the organization prior to Mandemaker's elevation to the role in October 2007.

Pedro Vicente Azua will assume the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO), managing and co-coordinating the policy and regulatory activities of EBAA specialist staff and experts, developing strategies with the CEO and ensuring the EBAA position is well advocated and properly represented at the European Institutions.

Carine Jacobs will become the Chief Administration Officer (CAO), responsible for the overall management of EBAA functions including Membership, Development, Finance, Contracts, Office Management and HR. Rodolfo Baviera continues as Chairman and Hervé Laitat as Treasurer.
