Jetblue Offers Free Flights to Attendees of Police Funerals

NYC Native Carrier Once Again Supports Law Enforcement with No-Cost Airfare

Following the tragic ambush and murder of 2 NYC police officers, JetBlue Airlines has offered free flights to their family members and law enforcement who wish to attend the funerals.

The move is a public show of support by the company, one the airline says is a matter of course as "New York's Hometown Airline."

The killings occurred last week, when Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora were attacked at a Harlem apartment in the city's Manhattan borough while responding to a call of domestic violence.

"We were shocked and saddened to learn of the tragedy that happened here in New York City," a JetBlue spokesperson told FOX Business in a statement.

"We have a long history of supporting public service professionals in our hometown of New York as well as the many other places JetBlue crewmembers live and work."
