Teledyne Mattituck Delivers 50th PowerLink ALPHA TMX Engine

Teledyne Mattituck Services tells ANN that they have delivered their 50th PowerLink FADEC equipped TMX engine. The PowerLink TMX engine will be installed into a California based kit airplane project.

PowerLink FADEC, (Full Authority Digital Engine Controls) is a proprietary FADEC system designed, built and certified by Aerosance Inc., a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, Inc. The PowerLink system provides optimum performance and ease of operation through the continuous monitoring and optimization of the engine's internal operating parameters. Pilot workload is reduced since there is only one lever needed to adjust engine power. Reduced workload improves the safety and pure enjoyment of flying.

"The PowerLink TMX engine is rapidly becoming one of our most popular engine options among the kit airplane building community," said Michael Yousik, Mattituck Sales Manager. "Once customers learn how easy the PowerLink TMX system is to install into their airplane, coupled with the operational benefits of reduced pilot workload, smoother automotive-like operation and fuel savings, its selection becomes an easy decision," Yousik concluded.

Teledyne Mattituck will be displaying the TMX engine model line at the US Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, FL and will be located in Tent C, Booth 16.
