Aero-TV: Building A New Aviation Dynasty - Sonex Aircraft At Oshkosh 2016

The Sonex-B and Waiex-B Make a Good Product Even Better, and the Jet is Still a Scorcher…

EAA AirVenture 2016 was a great place to find out about what’s new, and that’s what ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, set out to do when he talked with Mark Schaible, the General Manager of Sonex Aircraft.

It came as no surprise when Schaible said the big news at Sonex is the Sonex-B and the Waiex-B. He said that in response to customer requests, they have increased the room in the cockpit which also allows the installation of an instrument panel that can house more sophisticated instrumentation. They have also added more fuel and a larger combination of engine options.

Schaible also says there is greater kit simplification because of more advanced tooling and production techniques of the parts. The video provides great insight into the Sonex-B and the Waiex-B, and what they have to offer.

And, in case you’re wondering, you’ll get lots of information about the Sonex jet program and the revisions that have taken place to make it easier to build and to own; all at a lower cost. If you’re looking for product refinement and jet powered news, watch this video.
