NBAA Welcomes Annemarie McDonald Oxman As Chief People Officer

Succeeds Holly Clark, Who Is Retiring January 18th

The NBAA has appointed Annemarie McDonald Oxman, SHRM-SCP, as chief people officer (CPO). Oxman’s responsibilities were formerly held by Holly Clark, who is retiring from the organization on Jan. 18, 2019, after more than 12 years of service.

“We are fortunate to have Annemarie, a consummate professional, join our leadership team,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “She comes to NBAA with extensive association experience and a proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of HR functions. We welcome her enthusiasm for implementing innovative HR initiatives that support the strategic direction of NBAA.”

Oxman brings to her role as chief people officer a wide-ranging portfolio of experience including in the human resources specialties of employment law and compliance, training and development, performance management, employee relations, talent management and retention, benefit and compensation and reward and recognition programs, among others.

Most recently, Oxman served as director of human resources for the American Petroleum Institute, where she provided leadership and management for all HR functions of the organization, which has more than 300 employees, 100-plus retirees, six allied organizations and four international offices.

Prior to API, Oxman was director of human resources at Best Practices, Inc., an emergency medical services staffing company in Fairfax, VA. She was responsible for serving more than 250 clinical and professional staff located throughout the U.S.

Oxman has also served as senior vice president of human resources at the Consumer Electronics Association, where she was a member of the executive team responsible for helping to define organizational goals and strategies to maximize the success of the 150-employee trade association. She also has held several additional key human resources positions at organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

“Annemarie has nearly 25 years of human resources experience, much of it in trade association leadership, which makes her ideally suited for her responsibilities at NBAA,” Bolen continued. “I am confident she will be a great asset to our organization.”

Oxman holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in applied behavioral sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
