STC Certification Obtained For Max-Viz EVS-1500 On Cessna 206

Adds A Measure Of Safety In A Challenging Environment

Max-Viz announced Friday the FAA STC approval for the installation of the EVS-1500 Enhanced Vision System on Cessna 206 aircraft associated with the One Sky Aviation STC# SR02332AK.

Cary Foster, co-owner of One Sky Aviation based in Anchorage, Alaska said, “This first EVS-1500 certification on the Cessna single-engine product line adds to the 159 existing EVS installations available through One Sky Aviation for Cessna single models. The incorporation of EVS onto the Cessna aircraft provides for significantly enhanced overall situational awareness, which up here in Alaska is extremely important.”

“We look forward to the full integration with the panel installed Garmin G-1000 system on this aircraft in the very near future, which will provide an even further enhancement to capabilities for the U.S. Marshal Service C-206,” Forster continued. “One Sky and Max-Viz have worked diligently to promote EVS in areas where pilots are operating in some of the most demanding environmental and geographic regions on the planet.”

“The added safety that EVS brings to cockpit, especially the much higher performance and capabilities of our optical zoom, dual field of view 1500 product line, will most certainly enhance both the safety and operational capabilities of this Alaska based U.S. Marshal aircraft,” said Bob Yerex, Director of Sales for Max-Viz.
