Will Offer Enhanced Drone Training, Documentation And Management
When it comes to drone integration, effective training, documentation and management are all critical components of a successful program. To that end, Cape has announced a new partnership with Consortiq that will give Cape customers access to best-in-class training and management consulting services.
Consortiq is one of only three commercial companies certified to deliver training for the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International’s (AUVSI) Top Operator Program (TOP). In fact, Consortiq was recently recognized as a top Training and Education provider by the AUVSI XCELLENCE Awards . With this new partnership, they believe they are closing the gap between today’s regulatory environment and industry best practices, giving Cape customers the ability to be trained and certified in the TOP by Consortiq.
Beyond training, Consortiq’s Safety Management System platform, CQNet, is designed to virtually manage any UAS operation, including pre-flight risk assessments and management, aircraft maintenance schedules, real-time airborne data and aircraft positioning, and both pre-flight and post-flight checklists.
“Having trained more than 1,000 operators globally, we have seen first-hand the impact that drones have on businesses today, from driving operational efficiencies to improving safety,” said Bryan McKernan, Vice President of Consortiq. “We are thrilled to partner with Cape, one of the world’s leading commercial drone software providers, to help their customers gain the skills and expertise needed to execute on the most successful drone program possible.”
Cape says its partnership with Consortiq is the latest example of its continued commitment to enabling the Aerial Enterprise for companies and government organizations around the world who rely on Cape technology.
