Sporty's Awards Spring 2022 Pilot Training Scholarships

Young Aviator Gets Assistance in Building Flight Career

Sporty's has awarded recent high school grad and future ERAU student Franklin Fremont with their latest $2,500 flying scholarship for Sporty's Pilot Training+ members.

Fremont is a die-hard aviator, obtaining his private glider certificate and quickly moving onward and upward into his airplane and helicopter checkrides. He's been recognized for his hard work, being the youngest airman to become certificated for aircraft, gliders, and rotorcraft. He's set to begin his studies at Embry Riddle this fall, and his new scholarship will go to help him obtain his Instrument rating and flight instructor training at the school.

Sporty's grants 3 scholarships in the same amount to those holding an all-inclusive membership in Sporty’s Pilot Training+, the company's library of video-based courses. The annual or monthly fee opens up a range of training aids and courses in the site, giving the complete library of video courses for use anywhere. Sporty's has paid particular attention to students' needs, ensuring that courses function on phones, tablets, computers, even smart TVs. Eligibility for the scholarships requires an annual membership.
