Waveland Investments Acquires Airplane Reseller

NTE Deals With MRO Facilities In Engine And Airframe Parts

Chicago-based Waveland Investments has acquired NTE Aviation. Established in 2001 in Lewisville, TX, NTE engages in the sourcing and reselling of engine and airframe parts to/from MRO facilities, OEMs, airline operators and leasing companies. The company is well recognized within the aviation industry as a specialist in the regional airline turboprop engine and airframe segment and in Boeing 737 Classic applications.

Waveland Investments completed the transaction in partnership with NTE’s existing management. Danny Kelly, CEO of NTE, stated, “We are excited about the future of NTE. Waveland will be an ideal partner as we continue to grow our business”.

Larry Watkins, President & COO of NTE, added, “NTE is well recognized in the market place for our breadth of products and value-added expertise in sourcing replacement parts. We are very excited about the many opportunities available to us as a leading supplier in the aftermarket aviation parts industry.”

“Danny and Larry, along with Executive Vice President Tom Villani, have done a tremendous job of building NTE into a leading parts supplier in the regional turboprop and 737 Classic segments and we are thrilled to partner with them to continue to expand the business,” commented Meghan Otis of Waveland Investments, LLC.
