Miami Service and Maintenance Location for Active Winglet Equipped Citations
Tamarack Aerospace announced the addition of another partner to their global partner network, bringing ASG Aerospace of Miami, Florida on as an authorized service center.
The MRO offers sales and service for Tamarack's active winglet systems for the Citation 525, 525A and 525B across all 8 variants. Active Winglet System provides multiple performance benefits, including smoother, quieter flight for passengers as well as improved climb performance. The compensatory effects and active load alleviation serve to decrease felt turbulence and reduce fuel usage by "double digits" according to its creators. Tamarack is in testing for a military version of the patented system, to be released at a later date.
The addition of ASG brings total American centers to 13 in total, with an additional 7 spread across the world in Brazil, the Channel Islands, Sweden, Serbia, and The United Kingdom. In addition to all 20 Authorized Service Centers, Tamarack has two Transformation Centers in Aiken, South Carolina and Oxford, England, respectively. Transformation Centers and the Tamarack Headquarters in Sandpoint, ID are set up to instal new Active Winglet modifications as well as service the installed technology. ASG's Miami location adds an optimal hub for business aviation traffic, providing more coverage in a popular destination for the winglet equipped fleet of 150 Citations flying around the world.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Tamarack. Being part of a support network that is centered on excellent customer experience is an honor and by offering support services for Tamarack’s game-changing Active Winglet technology we will be able to offer our customers the opportunity to take their CitationJet to the next level of flight efficiency and sustainability,” noted Art Thompson, CEO of ASG Aerospace.
“Tamarack continues to grow.” says Nick Guida, Tamarack CEO and Founder. “Adding ASG Aerospace to our Authorized Service Center Network ensures that we are able to offer excellent customer service for our growing fleet of Active Winglet modified aircraft.”
