Heli-Expo 2006: Skyline Helicopters Purchases AgustaWestland A119 Koala

Will Be Used For Work And Fun

Agusta Aerospace Corporation, an AgustaWestland company, announced Tuesday that Skyline Helicopters has signed a contract to acquire one A119 Koala during the Heli-Expo annual convention in Dallas, TX.

Skyline Helicopters will use the A119 Koala (file photo of type, right) for geoseismic assessment and research -- as well as heli-skiing.

Company representatives say Skyline chose the Koala due to its superior performance, payload, cabin space and versatility. AgustaWestland cites the sale to Skyline as proof of its expanding presence in the Canadian market.

Skyline Helicopters is a charter helicopter company based out of British Columbia, Canada.
