Twin Cessna Taxis Into Terminal At Michigan Airport

No Injuries Reported In Ramp Accident

A Cessna 425 (file photo below) smashed through a floor-to-ceiling window in the terminal at Twin County Airport in Menominee, MI Tuesday afternoon.

The twin-turboprop is registered to APD Development of Palatine, IL. The plane's 71-year-old pilot Tony Dimucci and his passenger walked away without injury.

There was no one in the terminal at the time.

Witnesses said the aircraft taxied to a stop near the terminal and was apparently parking.

Airport manager Tony Krysiak told the Associated Press, "It came to a stop. We thought that the engines were going to be shut down, and the people would get out."

Instead, the plane started moving again before taking a 45-degree turn hitting the window in the terminal.
