Ikhana Aircraft Services Implements MRO And Logistics Management Program

Expands Lease Holdings At French Vally Airport In CA

Ikhana Aircraft Services (Ikhana) said Monday it has implemented Component Control’s Quantum MRO and Logistics Solution package to support management of the manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations at Ikhana’s production facilities in Murrieta, CA. Quantum will be used across all divisions of Ikhana Aircraft Services to streamline business operations, improve logistics, and enhance our customer service offering.

"Quantum was chosen as the best package to provide functionality and management of our operations and to support expanded sales of our proprietary STC’s for the Twin Otter fleet." said Marcos Carvalhal, Vice President and CFO at Ikhana. "Incorporating the Quantum MRO and Logistics Solution enhances our position as an integrator of special missions modifications allowing Ikhana to continue to focus on our customer’s unique requirements."

The company also recently completed lease negotiations have allowed an increase in the footprint of their production facilities at the French Valley airport (F70) in Murrieta, CA just north of San Diego. The expansion follows addition of a 20,000 square foot hangar completed in 2008 and provides room to support continued growth for the operation. “Completion of the lease is one key step in meeting our future growth plans for supporting the special missions market and our DHC-6 Twin Otter customer base.” said John Zublin, President/CEO of Ikhana. “Plans for an added facility are on the drawing board, which will be executed as our business expands.”
