King Schools Offers Study App
From what seems to be a never-ending quest to find cool things
to do with an iPhone comes the ability to now study some of King
Schools most popular aviation courses. Choices range from Taming
Stalls & Spins, Takeoffs & Landings Made Easy,
Communications, Complete Airspace Review or VFR Cross-Country. Each
course downloads the video right to your iPhone so you don't need
an Internet connection to watch. Search for "King Schools" from the
"App Store" on your iPhone or visit King's iTunes store for these
video courses.
For those who are not iPhone equipped ... there are also 60 of
King's 90+ courses now available in an online format. King Schools
says they are the same quality and content of their disc courses,
and all you need to get started is a computer and a high-speed
Internet connection.
Have a personal flying goal? The online version of King's
Instrument Rating Knowledge and Practical courses will work any
place you have a computer and broadband connection. Choose from 33
online courses for personal flying.
On up the rating ladder, the online study curriculum also
includes Multi-Engine, Part 135 Initial/Recurrent, Oceanic RNP or
27 online courses for pro/turbine. Learn where you land, with
fully automated progress tracking and no installation required.
King says that, no matter how you choose to study, their courses
are exactly the same, and will always take full advantage of the
power of your computer - or iPhone. With a stated mission to
help you get the knowledge you need to reach your aviation goals,
King says they strive to make the learning of complicated subjects
