VariFlight Partners With Skyscanner Provides Flight Status Notification Services

Available For Both iOS And Android Platforms

Aviation technology provider VariFlight has announced its partnership with Skyscanner, the global travel comparison platform, to provide real-time notifications of flight status on Skyscanner's mobile app.

The feature, which is powered by VariFlight's technology, is currently available to Skyscanner's iOS and Android app users, and sends instant notifications of any flight status changes (including check-in counters, gates, estimated takeoff/landing time) when they have added a flight to their trip in the app.

VariFlight has been an ardent supporter of aviation data sharing and has developed a variety of data products including a flight status API which Skyscanner are using, and Flight Happiness Index (FHI) to help partners optimize online air shopping satisfaction for end users as well online booking conversion rate across the whole air journey.

"We are delighted to be chosen by Skyscanner as their flight status information supplier. We will continue to develop data-driven services for our worldwide partners with the hope that more people can enjoy an efficient air travel experience," said Zheng Hongfeng, Founder and CEO of VariFlight.
