airBaltic Pilot Academy Receives 8th Diamond Aircraft

Another Austro Engine Jet-Fuel Powered DA40 NG Aircraft Comes To airBaltic Training

Pauls Calitis, airBaltic Chief Operations Officer: “Our Pilot Academy has managed to gain significant track record and continue its expansion. We have worked hard to offer opportunities for students to benefit greatly while learning from the first-hand experience of our professional instructors.”

Anton Shirkovskiy, Sales Manager at Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH in Austria: “We are very happy to support the growth of airBaltic Training and are looking forward to further supply the academy with our state-of-the-art and the industry’s safest training platforms.”

“Thank you, Diamond Aircraft, for your support in all times,” said Kristaps Lapsa, General Manager airBaltic Training, “Your dedication and support helped us manage those difficult COVID times, as successfully as possible.”

Earlier this week airBaltic Training received certification to establish an Authorized Service Centre for Diamond Aircraft at its base in Liepaja International Airport.

airBaltic Training will receive two additional single-engine DA40 NG training platforms from Diamond Aircraft in 2021.
