Organization Looking To Fill Two Deputy Director Positions

HAI is looking to fill a couple of key positions on its staff. The associtaion says it has openings for a Deputy Director of Flight Operations & Technical Services, as well as Deputy Director of Safety.

The Deputy Director of Flight Operations & Technical Services will assist the Director of Flight Operations & Technical Services regarding Flight Operations, Technical Standards, Maintenance Issues, and Heliports; representing HAI at various industry and government (Federal, State, and Regional) meetings; assisting with HELI-EXPO®flight operation activities; contributing to HAI publications; and providing assistance with education courses.
 
Requirements include: college degree (advanced degree in aviation safety, maintenance, and/or management preferred); five years of related helicopter maintenance background, training, and experience; five years as a certificated helicopter pilot.

The Deputy Director of Safety will assist the HAI Director of Safety regarding safety-related matters, acting as the point of contact for and managing staff associated with the HAI Accreditation Program, working with the FAA Safety Team to develop online educational materials, making safety presentations on behalf of HAI, and writing safety-related articles for HAI and other publications.
 
Requirements include: college degree (advanced degree in aviation safety preferred); five years of related helicopter safety, training and/or risk management experience; five years as a certificated helicopter pilot; and familiarization with auditing protocols and accreditation programs.
