Ensures Pilots Entering The Program Of A Job With Frontier On Successful Completion
Ameriflight and Frontier Airlines have entered into a Pilot Mutual Recruiting and Current Pilot Agreement to aid, support, and advance pilot career needs. The mutually beneficial agreement is intended to provide a clarified career path under which pilots can proceed to a part 121 certificated air carrier of the remarkable standard of Frontier. The relationship stems from a desire to work together to recruit and hire accomplished, trained pilots for both operations. The Career Path Pilot Program ensures pilots entering the program a pilot position with Frontier upon completion of outlined experience and training requirements.
Under the partnership, Frontier will actively mentor the Ameriflight pilots who are participating in the program by providing professional/career development programs. Frontier will offer employment to the Career Path Pilots subject to their hiring standards and the program requirements. The agreement between Ameriflight and Frontier is open to all Ameriflight pilots in good standing regardless of seniority, equipment, seat position, or current position within Ameriflight. Both new pilots and pilots who currently fly for Ameriflight are eligible and encouraged to participate in the program.
“The pilot flow agreement with Frontier is an excellent career path for our pilots,” says Ameriflight Vice President of Flight Operations Mike Anderson. “Frontier is a successful airline with great people and we’re excited for the opportunity this gives our pilots.”
“With forecasted retirements, it’s no secret that the demand for highly qualified pilots will grow over the next several years,” says Frontier Chief Pilot, JP Thibodeau. “This new partnership helps address our future pilot staffing needs while providing pilots entering the workforce a certainty for their careers.”
