Angel Flight SE Pilots Available to Fly Free Hurricane Wilma Emergency Relief

Pass This Around... Angel Flight Is Ready To Help!

The volunteer Aviators of Angel Flight(R) Southeast (AFSE), the 23-year-old nonprofit organization of more than 1,000 volunteer pilots who flew more than 900 people in and out of the areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina, wish to remind everyone of the availability of flights for medical, emergency and humanitarian relief in the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma. The Angel Flight Southeast Hotline is 1-800-352-4256.

Hospital and medical personnel, emergency relief organizations and other government and charitable organizations in particular are urged to call the toll-free AFSE Hotline Number above if they need to get people and supplies to damaged areas or hurricane victims out to other areas of the country.

AFSE is one of several Angel Flight(R) America regions, so AFSE can connect passengers needing to fly beyond our five-state regions to other areas of the United States.

Angel Flight Southeast (AFSE) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization of more than 1,000 volunteer pilots who utilize their own aircraft, fuel and time to provide free air transportation to medical facilities for citizens who are financially distressed or otherwise unable to travel on public transportation.

AFSE also coordinates missions to fly disaster relief personnel and victims, organ transplant candidates; people involved in clinical trials, chemotherapy or other repetitive treatment; victims of abuse seeking relocation; those receiving help from Ronald McDonald(R) Houses, Shriners Hospitals and many other charities; disabled or sick children to special summer camp programs; and for many other humanitarian reasons.

Last year, AFSE coordinated more than 2,500 air missions within its five-state region. AFSE is one of six geographic regions affiliated with Angel Flight(R) America.
