Adventure Pilot, SkyGuardTWX Bundle GPS, ADS-B, AHRS

Two Packages Available At AirVenture

A pair of avionics companies have gotten together to offer pilots new options for adding moving maps, weather data, and ADS-B to their cockpits. Adventure Pilot and SkyGuardTWX have bundled the new iFly 720 GPS with the Vision-Pro ADS-B.

Pilots may choose from an iFly 720 with Dual-Band ADS-B Transceiver for $1,994 or an iFly 720 with AHRS enabled Single-Band ADS-B Transceiver for $2,394, including free shipping. The two above-mentioned bundles will be available at AirVenture 2013.

The iFly 720 and Vision-Pro ADS-B Transceiver Bundle allows pilots to eliminate the guess work with full ADS-B Weather and Traffic on a dedicated sunlight readable aviation GPS, the iFly 720.  This all-in-one GPS/ADS-B package allows pilots to flight plan, position track, and monitor ADS-B weather and traffic while in-flight without the complexity or limitations of some multi-platform solutions. The iFly 720 includes a simple-to-use transceiver control panel for initial setup and functions like changing the squawk code, using the Ident commands and more.

Adventure Pilot is a manufacturer of portable moving map GPS devices for VFR and IFR pilots. SkyGuardTWX provides pilots with ADS-B Transceiver/Receiver solutions to enable pilots to benefit from the FAA’s NexGen ADS-B technology for subscription free Weather and Traffic. The iFly 720 GPS boasts one of the highest compatibility rates, supporting most of the ADS-B Receivers and Transceivers available.  This is distinctive in a market where a multitude of portable ADS-B devices are limited to a specific App or brand GPS.

“We are very excited to be working with SkyGuardTWX. The affordability and usability that the iFly 720 / Vision-Pro bundle provides is a perfect fit and will benefit any pilot” said Shane Woodson, VP of Business Development at Adventure Pilot. “ADS-B Weather and Traffic is a key interest of today’s pilots and the new iFly 720 / Vision Pro bundle suits the market well without hurting your pocketbook.”

No other portable system offers a complete portable Moving Map GPS, ADS-B Transceiver and AHRS referencing package on the market today.

“We are thrilled to partner with Adventure Pilot on the iFly 720 and SkyGuardTWX Vision-Pro bundle,” said Don Houtz, owner of SkyGuardTWX. “Together we are providing pilots with the needed ADS-B technology to promote safety and confidence while offering pilots a substantial savings."
