StandardAero Completes Falcon 900EX Elite II Avionics Retrofit

Includes Upgrades For Future Mandate Compliance

StandardAero recently completed a Falcon 900EX Dassault Falcon Jet (DFJ) full Elite II avionics retrofit for a Seattle-based operator at the company’s Springfield, IL, facility.

The DFJ Elite II program includes upgrades to the existing Honeywell Primus-2000 avionics flight deck along with enhancements to address future worldwide mandates. For this Falcon 900 EX operator, StandardAero provided Elite II packaged upgrades for WAAS GMS, DU-875 LCD cockpit displays, CDU-830s, FMS-6.2 software (including LPV), FANS 1/A+ CPDLC and ADS-B. The aircraft was delivered three days early and squawk-free for this operator.

“All of these upgrades ensure this aircraft is in compliance with upcoming mandates,” said Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation. “In addition, these enhancements will have very positive effects to the aircraft’s value and this truly international platform is now in position to leverage the most efficient worldwide flying conditions that this aircraft was designed for.”

StandardAero has performed multiple DFJ Elite II upgrades to date and currently has several additional aircraft under contract in 2017. In addition to the Springfield, IL facility, the upgrades can also be performed at StandardAero’s Augusta, GA and Houston, TX facilities.
