Aero-Biz Survival 101 (0520a): A Few More Ideas To Perservere During Tough Times

Avoid The Need For A Comeback... Get Your Marketing Right, Right Now!

Some time ago, the Aero-News Network, responding to numerous requests, established a marketing and communications sister company by the name of AEROPRENEUER... and it's been doing amazing work under these difficult circumstances -- and getting results!

We're getting rave reviews from our clients, and working hard to earn the trust of a number of new marketing partners along the way.

ANN's Amber Cedroni has come up with a few tips to help aero-businesses stay alive in these tough times, and will reach out each week to offer you all a few more from here on out...

With millions of people forced to shelter in place, the digital market has a new “captive audience” to entertain. While many people may not be making big purchases, there is still an opportunity to take advantage of this time and ensure that your brand survives this pandemic. The brands that stay resilient through this trying time, will be those who come out on top once life (tries) to resume as normal.

Here are the trends your brand should be taking advantage of NOW to keep things afloat…

PAID ADVERTISING IS CHEAP, LIKE REALLY CHEAP

The cost of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google ads has reached an all-time low. This makes sense because the way these big ad networks make money is through an auction system.

They need small businesses to drive up the cost per click (CPC) for ads so that way the big, billion-dollar corporations have to spend more money on ads. With web traffic soaring and fewer advertisers on these platforms, the cost of paid search and social advertising is cheaper than ever before.

GO DIGITAL WITH YOUR PRODUCT

Whether you sell planes, run a flight school, or sell an aviation product, there are many creative ways to create a digital offering within your brand. While many aircraft manufacturers and flight schools are offering free course training, why not build a premium offering within your course that students can upgrade and pay for. For example, while the course may be free, offering e-books, study guides, and supplemental tools that would be beneficial to students is a GREAT idea. As long as they are affordable, you will realize that many people do not mind upgrading or paying for something that will benefit them and in turn thank you for offering them free course material.

BUILD YOUR MAILING LIST

A great way to piggy-back on the idea above is to make sure you are growing your emailing list, so you can capture people who are currently engaged and interested in your brand. Maybe they can’t buy now, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be able to buy later.

Make sure it is easy to sign up for your mailing list on your website and you are frequently posting on social media with a link to sign up, along with some examples of what your newsletters and mailings offer (ie. giveaways, insider info, early releases, etc.)
