A seaplane owner has incurred the wrath of a local homeowner’s association which claims his attempts to safeguard public safety violate its bylaws. The viral Reddit post has been up-voted nearly ten-thousand times.

Titled “AITA (Am I The Ass**le) for ignoring my neighbors and their HOA group?” was uploaded by a seaplane-rated private pilot who operates a Piper Super Cub on floats near his lakeshore cottage. Bombardier has unveiled the newest member of its business jet portfolio with the introduction of the Global 8000 aircraft, reportedly designed to be the world’s fastest and longest-range purpose-built business jet. With a range of 8,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.94, the Global 8000 aircraft promises much. Sonaca Aircraft announced that it will cease production of its S200 aircraft. Sonaca CEO Yves DeLatte describes the measure as a “necessary decision… ” engendered by the COVID-19 pandemic’s adverse impact on general aviation and, in particular, pilot training. The S200 is a low-wing, aluminum, monoplane airplane. The S200 is powered by a slick, turbo-charged, four-stroke, 115-HP, four-cylinder, horizontally-opposed, Rotax 914 engine with air-cooled cylinders and water-cooled cylinder heads. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
