Gogo Business Aviation Expands ATG Coverage In North America

New Coverage Will Provide Additional Hour Of Connectivity In Two High-Traffic Locations

Gogo Business Aviation has expanded its coverage on the eastern seaboard of North America and in central Canada, providing approximately one hour of additional air-to-ground inflight connectivity in both locations for business aircraft.

The expanded coverage on Canada's east coast is primarily between Halifax, Nova Scotia and Gander, Newfoundland – approximately 450 additional nautical miles of new coverage. In central Canada the expanded coverage is available in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan, and central Manitoba, providing additional connectivity for flights crossing over the polar cap region into Canada – primarily flights between Europe and Canada, and Europe and the west coast of the U.S.

"Gogo continues to improve the inflight experience for business travelers by providing expanded coverage enabling longer sessions of connectivity and productivity," said Sergio Aguirre, senior vice president of product management & business development for Gogo. "The benefit of an additional hour of ATG connectivity gives our customers the ability to get more done or enjoy an additional hour of entertainment during a flight without the need to connect to other, more expensive, inflight connectivity and entertainment solutions."

The expanded coverage will benefit a host of Gogo customers, especially those who fly internationally between North America and Europe and cross over Canada's east coast or through central Canada; domestic flights between the east and west coast of the United States with routes over Canada; and domestic flights throughout Canada; and flights between Canada and the U.S.
