Tempest Has New Magneto Kits For Bendix

Two Levels Of Kits For Inspections, Overhauls

Tempest has announced the availability of 12 new repair kits for Bendix magnetos. The company says it's been making the repair and overhaul of Bendix magnetos convenient and affordable. The new offerings include six repair kits and six deluxe repair kits.  A repair kit is generally used for 500 hour inspections, a deluxe repair kit for major repairs and overhauls.

Tempest says all its magneto parts are manufactured under FAA/PMA guidelines and approval process. New kits will include capacitor part number AB-349276 which complies with the new mounting configuration versus the old style AB-357281 capacitor.

Tempest markets pneumatic, filtration, and ignition components, including a complete line of OEM dry air pumps, oil filters, ignition components, spark plugs, specialty tools and PowerFlite starters.  Manufacturing facilities are located in Gibsonville, NC, and Lakeview and Waterford, MI with sales and marketing offices located in Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA.
