Airbus Corporate Helicopters Updates Aston Martin Edition

New Livery Finds Quick Fans Among Clientele

One of the few remaining collaborations between an aircraft manufacturer and an upscale automobile marque recently saw a mild refresher in the Airbus ACH130 Aston Martin Edition, which began sporting some fresh styling after Heli-Expo 2023.

The new options quickly proved popular with one customer, with Franklin Mountain Management immediately opting to upgrade its ACH130 into the upscale Aston Martin iteration. The company plans to use the aircraft for VIP transport, real estate tours, and ranch flights throughout the New Mexico and Texas region.

In a similar vein, one Quebecois operator is making the jump from an older EC120B into a modern ACH130. The aircraft on order will be equipped with the Aston Martin interior options along with a cold weather kit to provide year-round operation for Aviation St-Michel.

“North American customers have continued to see the value helicopters provide for private and business aviation purposes, leading to a very active market that has nearly doubled over the past two years,” said Romain Trapp, President of Airbus Helicopters, Inc. and Head of the North America Region. “Airbus is pleased to be the leading provider of helicopters for this market, with orders placed in 2022 for every helicopter in our ACH range.”
