The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that the General Mills flight department has joined the ACSF. Along with 110 other companies, General Mills supports the ACSF’s vision to enable on-demand air charter providers and fractional program managers to achieve the highest levels of safety in the aviation industry.
“Our mission at General Mills is to provide our business travelers with world-class levels of service and safety for all of their company travel needs,” said General Mills Safety Manager Kenneth Range. “The ACSF standards and Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) helps ensure that safety is the cornerstone of every decision we make.”
General Mills, one of the world’s largest food companies, marketing in more than 100 countries on six continents. About half of the 41,000 employees work outside the United States. The flight department attributes the company’s outstanding safety record to “a safety culture that starts at the top, exceptional employees, and relentless training.”
We are pleased to welcome General Mills to the foundation,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “Becoming a member of ACSF is a testament to their commitment to providing the safest aircraft and flight crews for their respective business travelers.”
Ken Range added, “We continually look for additional ways to improve our safety culture. Participating in the ASAP program in conjunction with the ACSF, will add to General Mills Aviation’s SMS program and increase our level of aviation safety.”
