In this interesting and informative interview with EAA’s Jack Pelton at NBAA2015, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, asked Pelton for his opinion of this year’s convention and to express his thoughts on the state of business aviation as a whole. In the process of the interview, we are reminded of the incredibly strong background Pelton has in the business aviation world.
Because of Pelton’s position as EAA’s CEO, he is able to stand on the outside of business aviation and look at it from a highly objective viewpoint. This video captures Pelton’s interest in all of aviation and it also illuminates his desire to work with other organizations as he strives to move EAA forward.
The impression you get from listening to Pelton talk about business aviation is that this guy knows a lot about it and he’s worth listening to. The video is rapid-fire and Pelton goes on to talk about some of his past experiences in business aviation and what he sees for the future.
It could be said that because Pelton has “no dog in the hunt” as it relates to business aviation, his viewpoints are fresh and enlightening. Pelton has a way of making things interesting and informative even if you’re not in the Biz-Av end of aviation.
