Piper Pilot 100i Receives EASA Approval

Enters The Trainer Segment At A Price Point Of $298,900 IFR Equipped

Piper Aircraft has been awarded approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the Pilot 100i.

The Pilot 100i enters the trainer segment at a price point of $298,900 IFR equipped and offers the same durability and functionality as its stablemate, the Archer TX.

“This milestone certification represents a continuation of Piper’s strategy to provide competitively priced products for our global customers. We are eager to bring the Pilot 100i into the European market and provide flight schools with an aggressively priced, proven trainer,” said John Calcagno, Interim President and CEO of Piper.

“With the growing demand for professional pilots, it is important that we bring to market a more affordable solution with optimal economics for operators to help schools manage their overall training costs.”

The new Piper Pilot 100i rounds off Piper’s portfolio of training aircraft products.

With five model series (Pilot 100i, Archer TX, Archer DX, Arrow, and Seminole) the company offers a wide range of training aircraft, and meets all the individual needs of its training operators and customers.
