Avidyne's Investments in Supply Pay Dividents in Dealer Esteem
The Aircraft Electronic Association is hitting the ground running ahead of its trade show on the 24th of April, announcing this year’s Associate Member of the Year: Avidyne.
Avidyne’s selection comes at the behest of AEA members throughout the industry, chosen by dealers in recognition for their service throughout the pandemic and beyond.
“Avidyne is pleased to have been selected by AEA’s member dealers and manufacturers as the Associate Member of the Year,” said John Talmadge, Avidyne’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales. “Avidyne joined the Aircraft Electronics Association in the early days of the company and we’ve made significant investments in support of our dealers, including our innovative Interactive Installation Manual, our web-based Dealer Portal, and our on-line dealer knowledge base, which we have designed to provide world-class support to our dealers.”
The industry had a rough go of things after 2020, when logistics were thrown in the metaphorical blender until the situation could improve. Avidyne ended up navigating the epoch just fine, thanks to some keen foresight and a willingness to put the money where it’s needed most. “I believe our dealers really appreciated the significant investment that we made during COVID and the supply chain crisis so that we were always able to have product available during that difficult period.”
“On behalf of all the folks at Avidyne in manufacturing, engineering, operations, finance, tech support, and sales, I want to thank the Association and all of the Dealers for this award, and for your continued support,” said Talmadge.
In particular, Talmadge made sure to recognize good service where credit is due.
"We would also like to express congratulations to Dewey Conroy of Pacific Coast Avionics--a top Avidyne dealer-- who was voted AEA Member of the Year.”
