Pilatus Presents Series Standard PC-24 At EBACE 2017

Test Fleet Complete, Series Production Is Underway

The third PC-24 prototype, which also represents the series standard, will be unveiled to the general public at this year's European Business Aviation Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, May 22 - 24. At the Pilatus headquarters, PC-24 series production is underway and accelerating to ensure on-time delivery of the first customer aircraft after certification.

On display next to the PC-24 P03 there will also be a 1:1 mock-up with a "Vail" style interior, shown for the first time in the flexible 6 plus 2 seating configuration.

Following the P03's maiden flight on March 6, the PC-24 test fleet is now complete. The three prototypes have accumulated a total of 950 flights and 1525 hours in the air to date. Further certification flights are currently in progress. Certification of the Super Versatile Jet is planned for the 4th quarter of 2017 and initial customer deliveries are scheduled immediately thereafter.

Meanwhile, back at the headquarters in Stans, work has already started in earnest on the first aircraft for delivery to customers. The production status of these first few PC-24s is already well advanced: number one has already received its final livery.

"I'm delighted that we can now unveil the first series-conform PC-24 to the general public at EBACE," said Oscar J. Schwenk, Chairman of Pilatus. "We are confident of being able to convince even more potential customers of the uniquely outstanding performance of our Made-in-Switzerland Business Jet!"

In 2014, Pilatus sold 84 PC-24s in the space of just 36 hours. The order book is currently closed, but is due to re-open in 2018 after receipt of the first positive reports from PC-24 operators. Final PC-24 performance data will be published after certification. The data gathered by Pilatus thus far indicate that the Super Versatile Jet's performance is likely to exceed expectations.
