Represents A New Line Of Business For The Company
Esterline Simulation Visual Systems, a new business of Esterline Corporation, has been awarded a contract to provide seven new full-flight visual display systems to Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LM MST) of Orlando, Florida.
Each of the seven TREALITY Small Environment Enhanced Reality (SEER) domes consist of a thirteen-channel, wide field-of-view sphere, with an additional head up display (HUD) channel. Additional support and maintenance tools include a fully automated automatic alignment system providing nearly 100% uptime performance capability. Esterline Simulation Visual Systems is responsible for the design, installation, alignment, acceptance testing and maintenance training of the visual display system.
“Our TREALITY SEER full-flight visual display system has been deployed around the world to support many flight training applications," said Mark Saturno, vice-president of worldwide sales, Esterline Simulation Visual Systems. "This proven product is part of an expansive simulation systems portfolio that we are proud to offer for air, ground and maritime training. We are pleased to be supporting Lockheed Martin with this new program.”
Esterline Simulation Visual Systems announced the launch of its new TREALITY brand of products at ITEC 2015. Formerly the Training & Simulation products business of Belgium-based Barco N.V., which Esterline acquired earlier this year, the new TREALITY product brand is synonymous with the design, development, manufacture and world-wide support of market leading, high-performance visual systems for military and commercial flight simulation and training.
