CAPT Partners With Aviation English Services

Will Help Int'l Student Pilots Learn Language Of Aviation

The Commercial Airline Pilot Training (CAPT) Program announced recently its partnership with aviation English training provider, Aviation English Services (AES), to help transition pilots unfamiliar with English to the worldwide, official language of aviation.

CAPT Program is home to many international students training to be pilots for airlines across the world.

"We wanted to find the best possible service provider for our aviation English course," said Patrick Murphy, Executive Director of CAPT, LLC. "CAPT is training pilots to fly for the world’s most elite airlines and it is our mission to equip those pilots with unsurpassed training in every area. For the purposes of their language skills, a partnership with AES was the obvious choice."

The core learning principles behind the AES method are: enabling pilots to learn at their own pace; focusing on topics that are relevant to them; addressing the language skills identified in ICAO requirements; maintaining their interest; and maximizing their "return on investment" on time spent learning English.

"We are very excited to partner with CAPT in their flight training program," said AES company director Elizabeth Mathews. "AES is very selective when we choose where to incorporate our program, and CAPT is the perfect fit."
