Company Offers An Updated Classic

With new orders increasing and the product line continuing to grow and evolve, CubCrafters has named Randy Lervold as its’ new General Manager. As General Manager, Randy will lead daily operations and drive long term planning for the company. CubCrafters’ owner and founder, Jim Richmond commented, “Randy brings significant experience to the CubCrafters team, including enterprise-wide responsibility of manufacturing companies much larger than CubCrafters and an impressive background in strategic marketing and sales channel development. This skill set, combined with his passion for general aviation and himself being a two-time homebuilder, will help further advance CubCrafters in the aviation industry. I’m excited to have him strengthen our team.”

Randy Lervold added, “CubCrafters has an excellent foundation on which to build, the company’s reputation and products are both key strengths and are truly state-of-the-art. The mission for the next few years is to leverage these strengths to take the company to the next level. That level is not just increased sales but production efficiency, continued product innovation, and continued best-in-class service in every sense. Having assembled two kit aircraft, I am especially impressed with the quality of the products that are produced here. I look forward to building upon the company’s reputation and continuing to position CubCrafters as the market leader in innovation, safety, and performance. I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity.”

CubCrafters offers three all new, FAA-certified, ready-to-fly, aircraft: the second generation SPORT CUB S2, the follow on airplane to the original SPORT CUB…the long awaited redesign of the classic airplane that inspired the light sport category; The SUPER SportCub, a stronger and more powerful version of the S2 with 180 horse power available for take-off and climb, making it the most powerful LSA aircraft in production; and TOP CUB, with useful load of over 1000 Lbs. the most capable two-place personal and utility aircraft.
