French Hobbyist Wants To Make All Star Wars Ships Into UAVs

Has Already Completed An Imperial Star Destroyer, Other Ships

It's something of a mission for a French UAV hobbyist and enthusiast known as Oliver C; recreate the ships that captured the imaginations of millions in the Star Wars saga as UAVs.

And he's well on his way. Oliver C has already built shells that resemble the Millennium Falcon, a Tie Interceptor, and an Imperial Star Destroyer that fit over the chassis of a Prophecy 335 UAV, which he designed himself, and shot videos of the aircraft in flight for YouTube. Oliver C has become something of an Internet sensation among UAV enthusiasts and Star Wars fans alike, according to Digital Trends.

Want your own? Oliver C has posted build instructions for both the UAV and the shells on his website. So if you have some skills in that arena, you too can recreate your own fleet of Star Wars ships. Digital Trends reports that Oliver C apparently plans to recreate every ship that appeared in the movies.
